PREMIER CLINIC: Dermal Fillers (Hyaluronic Acid Filler Injection) for Facial Sculpting

Hey guys! Sorry I know I've been saying this but have been really busy, so I didn't really have the time to sit down and blog.

ONE EXCITING NEWS THO! I've done fillers on my nose bridge. IKR like I've never thought I'd go and get fillers for my nose but it happened. It was seriously scary for me cos I get anxiety attacks by the most minor things hahaha. Nevertheless, I got it done and tbh, it was not as painful as I thought it'd be.

Me and my friend @janicekbaby during consultation
Here's some info to brush up your knowledge on dermal fillers.

WHY CHOOSE FACIAL SCULPTING/CONTOURING?

As you age, the skin loses its elasticity due to the lack of collagen
and hyaluronic acid being produced and may begin to sag or become
thinner. This results in the cheekbones becoming a more prominent
feature of your face as the skin clings tightly to it. In addition, this
loss of volume results in your face looking weary and droopy, and dermal
fillers can help restore its structure and take years off your
appearance. Your skin will also be rejuvenated and healthier in the
process as the hyaluronic acid and newly produced collagen begin to take
effect.

HOW IT WORKS

Also known as hyaluronic acid fillers, no down time is required and it
is also a very effective anti-aging technique that produces almost
instant results that look natural, leaving you feeling younger and
rejuvenated.

Produced naturally in your body, hyaluronic acid adds volume underneath
facial skin along with fat cells, collagen and elastin. As you get
older, natural hyaluronic acid reserves begin to break down but this can
be remedied with dermal fillers that reduce wrinkles and fine lines and
creates plumper lips. Just a small amount of dermal fillers are needed
to make a drastic difference to your image, taking years off your
appearance.

Usable on its own or together with other treatments such as Botox
injections and laser resurfacing, the effects of a dermal filler are
similar to that of a non-surgical facelift. The procedure is suitable
for all types of skin and no allergies will be triggered as hyaluronic
acid is naturally produced by the body, making it safe to use on any
individual.

HOW OFTEN

These fillers can last over a year, but the length of results may vary
depending on the individual. As the hyaluronic acid is natural, the body
will eventually break it down and absorb it so it is important to note
that dermal fillers are not a permanent treatment. This also ensures
that you are not at risk of being forced to maintain a look you are
unsatisfied with in the coming years.

RECOVERY

Most people are able to return to their daily routine immediately after
treatment without any problems. Some redness, minor swelling or bruising
may occur in the treatment area but this is easily hidden with mineral
make-up.

The overall procedure was quite fast actually. Just a simple cleaning and sterilizing to the skin on my nose, placed ice packs on it then there goes nothing. I was seriously praying hard lol idk why I get so paranoid over things like this.

And then, I decided to take a selfie. LOL *effin bad angle tho* #fatsocaliso
Now for the reveal, the before and after pic! omfg don't judge me.
Cheers to a closeup retarded face! JUST FOCUS ON THE NOSE :D

There was a slight swell that;s why my nose bridge looked fat, but the swelling would go off over time and now it's really natural.
Tbh, I hope my nose would look higher and more dramatic, but it's rather good this way too. At least people wouldn't call me fake? LOL

The awesome doctor behind all this... Dr Kee! <3
Overall my experience at Premier Clinic was good. The doctor had so much patience explaining the procedures to me and I really appreciated that. Nurses were very warm too so I felt much better overcoming my anxiety haha.

B Lab @ Verve Shops, Mon't Kiara

Hello fellow food lovers. I've got an interesting place to share with you guys. I may be a lil outdated but I've only discovered this place recently. It's B Lab, located at Verve shops in Mont Kiara. It's quite new I guess, and it is owned by master baker Yukichi Matsubara & his wife Zenn.

outside view

cute instagramable corner

all the breadzzz yums

more breaddddddddd

This restaurant felt like a fusion place serving bread and wine, and also western (with a lil bit of Asian) cuisines. lol. I really loved the environment too, except for the open kitchen which left me smelling like smoke after meal.

Beets and mesclun salad was nice. Really healthy with loads of greens, slow-roast beetroot and red radish shavings. Portion could be bigger tho lol.

Pressed pork belly was sooooo good. I mean, look at the pictures. ORGASMIC! but only at first bite. I literally felt a second of heaven lolol. After that you'd be repulsed by it. I'm not sure if it's the flavor that caused the "jelakness" or it's too oily lol. If you plan to order this signature dish then do share with your friends.

Pancetta and mushroom ragout was nice too, but it was too oily for me. I'm not sure if it was olive oil or oil from the pork belly that made the pasta so oily.

I didn't get to try the bread though but I heard their baguette is really good. Well, reasons for me to come back here next time right? haha. Do you guys have any nice restaurants to introduce? I'd love to try out new places heh. Till next time xxxxx

Blue & White; just being casual |

Hello friends. Here's another outfit post which I think is just nice for the hot weather in Malaysia. I've chosen a blue top, paired with white shorts and white sneakers.

This striped top is an old shirt that I never thought I'd wear again. Pairing it with these white shorts, I really like how the whole outfit came together. It's really casual, even with this blazer. I chose to go with only two colours because I don't want this look to be too overwhelming.

I really love this pair of white sneakers too. It's casual but smart and it compliments this whole outfit. I'm kinda going for the "vacation on cruise" kinda feel lolol. Don't really know how to describe but I really liked how this white pair of Lacoste sneakers did the trick.

ignore the leg hair and focus on the shoes

awkward going-to-fart kinda pose

Same old accessories

Overview of the whole look
So guys, what do you think of the way I mix and match my outfit? I hope it's not weird. btw I don't really like wearing shorts cos I'd feel insecure with them on. Do I look okay with shorts? Or do you guys prefer me in long pants. Let me know yeah! <3

That's all for now. I'm still learning to write a fashion blog post. Don't judge hahaha till next time! x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x <3

Smart casual #ootd

Hey there! How have you guys been? I realized I've only done one fashion post before. So, here's another one. I really love this outfit cos it looks smart, clean, and effortless. I really enjoy layering my outfit to make me look less like a satay skewer lolol.

For this outfit, I wore a shirt, and a blazer over it, matched with a pair of working trousers lol. ikr damn formal but I paired this outfit with a pair of white New Balance sneakers, which made me look more relaxed and fun.

My nerdy specs with silver frame. How do I look with these on?
Close-up shot. I've been rather dull with my accessories selections lately. Any websites where I can shop for nice accessories?
Overall view of the outfit. What do you guys think?
In general I really love how this outfit turned out to be. Of course I don't get to dress up like this all the time or people would think I'm crazy haha. Tell me what you guys think of this outfit and if you have any questions, please comment in the section below to help me improve! Off to high tea now.. talk to you guys soon! <3 <3 loads of loves.....

Swich Cafe, Publika

Hey guys! How r u guys? Recently I went to Publika and came across this really cute café called Swich Café. I've seen it a few times but never tried it cos it looked kinda dodgy (just being honest)

BUT... all negative thoughts changed after looking at their cakes. Damn cute omg I wanna try all of them but I could only eat one myself. So I went for the unique one, the Cempedak cake! ikr who on earth would come up with such a flavor... hahaha

The cake was really good, at first bite. Then I started to get "nauseated"... lol cant think of a word to describe 'jelat' in English. Its really rich and creamy, and I guess it might suit some people's liking. Here are some of the photos I took... Really nothing special about the photos but you could really tell how creamy it is from the picture rightttttt...

Tbh I'm drooling right now looking at these pictures. Damn I think  I'd go back to try out other cakes! I saw their red velvet was soooo nice.. I wonder how it'd taste like. Heheh...

K that's all for this time! Signing off with a pic of me munching on the cake :P

 Till next time, x!
